Méthode: Unité 11, leçon 4, p. 51: Bande dessinée (comics)
Cahier: p. 45, and started Unité 12 with vocab, p. 69

Vocab: j' ai des yeux... des cheveux, gauche, droite (my eyes are, my hair is, left, right)


Homework:
All of Unit 11 should be finished in the Cahier. Dictionary for Unit 11, p. 69 in the Cahier d'exercises.


Monday March 28th:

Library time,  CDRom Unit 11 ex. 1 & 2: game with days of the week and numbers.

Unit 11 part 3, (Méthode p. 50) telling time.

"Quelle heure est-il"? - "What time is it?"

"Il est ___ heure(s)". - "It is ___ o'clock."

Homework: Cahier p. 44, 3A & 3B. Extra points for writing out the numbers in letters in Ex. 3A!

Learning numbers up to 60:

We did page 49 in La Méthode, exercises C & D, these correspond to recordings 35 & 35 on the DVD. We played Numbers Bingo.

Homework: Cahier p. 43 2A & 2B. Refer to vocab p. 69.

Week 24th / 24ème semaine ♥ March 14th - March 16th ♥ 2nd semester 7th week

No school Monday March 21st, as Soquel Elementary is having a "teacher day."

Homework for Wednesday,

• Make sure ALL of Unit 10 in the cahier d'activités (p. 38-41) is completed. As we did ex. 3B p. 40 today in class, some didn't have time to write out the sentences at the bottom of the exercise.
• Dictionnaire from the back of the book, p. 69.

Week 23rd / 23ème semaine ♥ March 7th - March 9th ♥ 2nd semester 6th week

Carnaval Party!

Wednesday March 9th:  

•  We did the "fruit" worksheet. 
• Review of Unit 9 vocab from pages 42-43: Il y a (there is/are) - food, clothes, activities, colors.
• We finished Unit 10, p. 46-47 in the Méthode.
• We went over the structure of -er verbs, with the je and tu forms.
• Articles: un/une/des, le/la/l' /les, du/de la/des.

Homework for Monday March 14th: p. 38-40, ex. 1B, 2B, 3A, and all of P. 41, except they don't need to do the dictionary yet.

Monday March 7th: 

• Discussed Carnaval with the Civilisation booklet, p. 13.
• Had a Carnaval party with les petites anglophones. Many thanks to Mathilde pour the crêpes, and the feathers for the couronnes!
