Week 2 / 2ème semaine

Monday Sept. 27, I corrected the children’s workbooks cahier d'activités. Only some of the children had completed through p. 4. Thank them for getting the work done!

We went through the textbook thru p. 6. (Unité 2 Leçon 1)

We listened to the audio CD tracks through track 11. (Only the teacher has this CD, which arrived late last week. It accompanies the textbook. I would like to upload some songs here, but can’t find an option to do it.)

Vocab: Comment tu t-appelles? Je m’appelle… What is your name? My name is...

Homework / Devoir: through p. 4. We will do pages 5 & 6 in class.

Wednesday September 29th. Most of the class time was spent working on making a dictionary. Starting p. 63 of their cahier d’activités (workbook) is a lexicon of the new vocabulary of each unit, to cut out and paste in their own dictionary.  We began by labeling a series of blank pages in their notebooks with letters of the alphabet, A-Z, one letter per page. They started pasting the vocabulary of Unit 1 on the letter pages.

Practiced  j’aime…, je n’aime pas… (I like…, I don’t like…)

We worked on page 5 of the cahier d’activités, and played “Alphabet bingo.”

Homework/ Devoir: Through page 5, if not already done. The more advanced students can write a little story with vocabulary they know.
