This week, which was only Wednesday as Monday was a holiday, we did some review of the animal names and Unit 2: they wrote the names of the animals under their pictures, which they colored. They also made a pocket inside their notebooks, for little bits and pieces.
We did the Textbook CD listening exercise #17, reviewing j’ai / je n’ai pas… (I have/ haven’t got…) We also wrote out the verb avoir (to have,) and played “Red Light Green Light” in French.
Vocab:
Avoir – to have
J’ai –I have
Tu as – you have (singular/informal)
Il/elle a – he/she has
Nous avons – we have
Vous avez – you have (plural/formal)
Ils/Elles ont – they (f)/(m) have
Feu rouge (red light) feu vert (green light) feu jaune (yellow light) bougez/ ne bougez pas (move/don’t move)
