· ~Halloween!~ Next week we will have some activities together with the younger class, on a Halloween theme. They may dress in costume or bring a costume. We will have some sweets; please let us know if there is anything they should avoid eating.

- This week we did most of Unit 3 in Alex et Zoé about classroom objects.
- We did p. 2 & 3 of Alex et Zoé : Livret de Civilisation (Civilization Booklet)
- In La Méthode (the textbook) of Alex et Zoé we did most of Unit 3 except p. 12. We did the listening exercises thru CD1-26, except 23-24.
- We did the CDRom exercises for Unit 3 except no. 4.
- They got an old fashioned-style handout of classroom objects to color, and another handout for practice of classroom vocabulary.

· Homework:
- I checked all the completed homework, and highlighted undone parts, still to complete.
- For Monday 10/25 they can do 3B page 12, & page 13. [When they do 3B on p. 12, make sure they understand that the colors are feminine or masculine, to correspond to the objects. Une/ma indicate a feminine object, and un/mon indicate a masculine object. To make the colors feminine, they color will have the added (e) or the version in parentheses (blanche.)]
- On page 13, 4B they color the pencils and write the name of the color next to it.
- For Wednesday 10/20 in their cahier they did pages 10 & 11.
- They also took the words from Unit 2 (p. 63) and glued them into their dictionary pages.
